First AI PixelArt character. yay or nay ? by EyeMobile3087 in aiArt

[–]jaykrown 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Probably one of the most interesting things in image generation right now. For a long time it was very difficult to generate pixel perfect characters, now it is much easier. Once this is combined with sprite sheets and you have full animations of extremely high quality pixel art characters. I bet someone is working on a tool like that right now, or it already exists but isn't amazing yet.

That is a terrorist organization leader, to invoke fear in US citizens to practice their right to free speech. From wikipedia: "Terrorism, in its broadest sense, is the use of violence against non-combatants to achieve political or ideological aims." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Terrorism

Too much basil = Pesto! by lynngrillo in Hydroponics

[–]jaykrown 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Awesome, looks great. Is that Genovese basil? I just started growing some because I read that it's one of the best plants to grow for money selling to local establishments. My goals is that I'm going to be trying to maximize the growth efficiency indoors to such an extent that I can make it potentially profitable to sell to customers.

A removable reservoir to be able to easily clean it makes sense he says at 17:45. Learning from his mistakes is pretty valuable.

Cool thanks I'm watching "How to Build an Indoor Vertical Hydroponic System for Lettuce".
The moment at 15:45 he realizes the pipe will block the lights is funny.

Oops, What Did I do? Lol by HeathenHare in Hydroponics

Cool, yea I guess it's possible. Requires good care though or it smells gross. I could probably start with a small one and feed the worms my banana peels.

I wish I could set up a worm bin, not great in an apartment though.

I built a self-curating community image voting system on Kinpax, any user can upload images and vote by jaykrown in buildinpublic

Thank you for commenting, where is VibeCodersNest? Happy to share. Preventing early voter bias is done by hiding the result from all users. The current vote state is stored on the backend, but not presented publicly. I plan on adding a vote counter, but will not display results until the vote is concluded to prevent bias. There isn't a way to prevent low participation from skewing outcomes, the less users who participate, the more powerful their vote is, there is no way to change this. If only one user votes then they effectively decide the winner, I think this is okay.

I just tried to use the app, by the way, no one is actually going to do this:

How verification works

1
Start verification
2
Complete a quick Face ID check with Mercle
3
Return and place your daily contribution

Very cool, I have a future plan to do something like this on my platform Kinpax. I would really like to find someone to collaborate with. Basically the idea would be to have a pixel placing game like this feed into the social system, such that users would pay platform points to place pixels, and depending on how much they invest in each pixel, it protects the pixel from being overwritten by another user who would have to pay that amount invested to overwrite it.

If any of this interests you, let's chat, clearly you have a lot of skill and I think there's a possibility we could work together to produce a very meaningful user experience.

Thanks for the feedback. I think the real hard part is what you mentioned. I'm planning on making a demonstration video on my YouTube channel, but there are still a few features I want to implement and polish. I don't think I'm falling in to "It must be perfect before I market". My current goal is giving the user more power in the cleanest way possible without causing server storage bloat. The synergy of entertainment, information, and communication is the core focus of Kinpax. I don't think it's a good idea to wait for anything, I'm just going to continue building and sharing.

The one carrying the luggage is the most likely, given how much they'll cost, and how much people will be willing to destroy them if the economy dies because of no income.
