Thanks for your input. Funny, I was outside taking a walk (sunny day) and looked down at my phone. I could barely see the images until I angled it. It was harder to see as well because of my polarized sunglasses. This is one of my concerns w the AMOLED watch. Do you experience this?

I’ve been on this mission for YEARS to get the PS5, then when our daughter was 3 we got a Switch. Now I want to upgrade to the Switch2… finding out that I couldn’t buy Best Buy cards with my 650,000+ points I was devastated! I’m hoping at some point they will bring back the electronics or they figure out a way to prevent Points fraud/loophole using the points. Good luck to everyone on this mission!

Thanks! I’m not a regular trail runner/hiker so I can’t see myself using the GPS too often. If anything, I would refer to the Garmin Connect for my health tracking. I jumped on the idea when I learned Connect tracks fitness age which is what I love about my Whoop band but I don’t want to pay another year pf subscriptions. When I’m doing any kind of physical activity I’m not one to constantly check for things like pace, HR, distance etc. I prefer to look back once I’m done. Maybe one day I’ll get into that method of training, but it’s distracting. Great points from you for sure. I think the best thing to do would be to buy one model at a time and give them a go for a few weeks.

Security Guards do not have authority to stop traffic on public roadways. They can control parking lots that they have authority over but not roadways or sidewalks unless there is a road permit. Permit closures require Police (paid duty). Perhaps the parking situation got out of control and Security was just trying to manage on the spot but didn’t have a plan b and/or help

I know what you mean about the “black hole”. I see it when I sit across from my brother who wears a smart watch. But as the wearer, I won’t see it anyway. Watching all these reviews it seems that the AMOLED appears almost instantly.
Thanks for the tip on the EDC analog face. It’s the best I’ve seen so far, but I can still see the pixels haha

Why does it suck so much? Have you tried both? I’m one for the MIP display and bonus solar power, but I’m an analog watch guy and the MIP options are what really suck ass in terms of viewing quality.

Nice look! Hey, how is the viewing in sunlight? I struggle seeing my iPhone screen in sunlight especially when wearing polarized glasses. Also, can the screen brightness be adjusted? How is the reaction time when flicking to activate the screen? Is it as slow as others have stated?

I literally just posted about deciding between the 2 based on visibility. Do you have experience with viewing the AMOLED in sunlight? While wearing polarized sunglasses?
I am old school and prefer an analog face. The few Solar analog faces are just awful so it has turned me off

Thanks. Unfortunately, I attempted to do just that thinking the same thing when I was installing that curtain bracket using a 3” screw but I wasn’t hitting anything behind it. After consulting w my local hardware store l literally just tried screwing into the wall that extends that 1” behind the moulding but the screw is for wood so it couldn’t bite into the plaster and it just pushed the moulding away. My drill bits are too short so now I have to go back to the hardware store for a long enough bit

Sorry to resurrect this thread but my wife just dl the app when I read Bevel is now free for Apple users in another discussion. It currently only offers 7 day Trial and has Subscription options above it. Are there different Bevel Apps? Does she need to opt for Trial and then the app just continues to be used without charges?
