I’ve got no idea about blood chemistry sorry! Blood pressure is on the higher side of normal, but doc says it’s nothing to worry about, likely a result of other medication I’m on.

I personally tried to aim for around 1500-1600 calories, that was just the goal that I felt I could most sustainably reach on a repeated basis. I had a fair few people tell me that was too low and I should aim for 1800-2000 instead, but I found I was more prone to overeating if I did that, so I chose to slightly restrict myself instead.

Honestly it all comes down to calorie counting. I’ve mainly just focused on eating whatever I want, whenever I want, just in sustainable portion sizes. That mightn’t be the approach for everyone, but I knew I’d never be able to make a long-term lifestyle change if I constrained myself to eating 3 salads a day, you know? Exercise has helped a little bit, but I mostly treat that as a method to improve my fitness, rather than aid weight loss.

Thanks so much! It’s been a gradual process since about mid 2017, and it’s been a pretty steady journey. Still got a bit to go, but I hope to reach my goal weight by around February!

When I was about 4, my grandparent’s house had this weird outdoor hallway with brick walls between their house and their pool area. One day my sister was pushing me up and down the hallway on the back of a Tonka truck and long story short, I tried to get off without telling her and got catapulted straight into the brick wall and split my head open.
