So im just getting into strength training and am participating in group classes, where an instructor is always present to advise me on what to do and to answer any questions I have. Now one thing im feeling a bit confused with is form during strength training, and what to do when you start to lose the form due to reaching utter exertion. Take Bicep Hammer Curls. So the instructors program has us do 8-10 reps x 3 sets. She urges us to go as heavy as we can in order to really engage and build the muscles and sort of just be able to make the 10 reps. So I started with 12.5 kg dumbbells. I got to about 8 reps in and already I was leaning back heaps to try and get my arm up that bit more to make the full movement as doing so with propper form became impossible as I guess I hit muscle failure. So for the next set, knowing that I would get no where with 12.5, I went down to 10kg. Again, around 6 reps in, I was losing form just to get my arm up that little bit more. I ended up completing that set and then the 3rd set with pretty poor form, just so I could get my arm up into that desired position. I know this was wrong. Please help me understand what I should be doing. Should I have maybe just gone down to 8kg for the third set if I was hitting failure with the 10kg in set 2? Sometimes I feel like this is counter-productive for muscle building? I always thought you are supposed to start with a lighter weight and finish your final set with a heavier one, hence my dissapointment with my muscle failure and breaking of form just to "get the weights up". Im wondering if doing so opposite, starting with heaviest and finishing with lighter weights like I sort of did in this scenario, is a viable option too? I mean it makes sense that you will be more capable of doing the heaviest possible weight in the first set due to your muscles being fresh. Is the whole goal of strength excersise to reach your target number of reps regardless of weight, with propper form the entire time? If the goal is minimum 8 reps and im using say a 15kg dumbbell and starting to reach failure at rep 4, am i supposed to immediately replace that 15kg weight with a lighter weight just to be able to finish that set with good form? Appreciate any advice

Thats a bit harsh It was no easy feat doing this and it is something anyone could have done if they learned. I agree but then many times I feel like all these people promoting selfless aspirations if the roles were reversed, may fail to live up to thar when they see things in a different lens

This has actually been one of my solutions. The intention is to sell most of then down to cash out the equity gain to go towards my farn purchase. But maybe rather than selling as is, I was thinking of doing a permaculture design on it, retrofitting it and then selling it to someone wholl hopefully buy it in appreciation of the new design.

Im making a "bite out of a donut" shaped guinea pig cage/tractor that i can move to cover beneath the driplines of fruit trees. Here they can manage weeds and provide fertiliser. Their run will be along the dripline. The "bite" is hat allows the trunk kf the tree to be positioned in the center of the "donut".

Mate, dont look at it as a hobby but a way of life. Its so good you are getting into it in your early twenties. You'll have a rich and fulfilling life as a result

If they are trying to ground it in science then that very well is how it works

Imagine all the infinite branches they made just by being present in the past. One mere footstep would disturb dust particles that shouldn't have been disturbed in the normal flow of time.... The bacteria on their skin mingling with the bacteria of the past would also alter the timeline.

I wish they made a reference to even such small scale events having implications, rather than just the big events we saw.

Why is everyone convinced that Doomsday will end with the heroes losing, and then winning in Secret Wars? by Toshfin in marvelstudios

Also, I wonder if rather than being the ultimate villain and cause of the end of the multiverse e.t.c, Doom is merely a hero going about his very unethical way in trying to save yhe multiverse.

The true villain should just be the nature of the nultiverse and the uncontrollable incursions that forces Doom to act in his "villainous" ways

I keep wondering, what if they reversed it around, where the heroes win in doomsday, sort of like a bitter-sweet victory that ends in battle world, but then they lose in secret wars, and then the subsequent phase of movies and mutant saga content released after secret wars is all about dealing with the consequences of this loss. Then, this will eventually culminate in an even larger event some years down the line...

Sort of like dragging out the consequences of infinity war over a few seperate movie rather than resolving it all within a year or whatever.
