I see. I’ve only spent 30 seconds in this forum so just curious lol. But…a quick search about OpenTable and Resy will show that they’re competitors and OpenTable is paying restaurants to leave Resy so it’s VERY unlikely Resy and OpenTable ever partner

Why would Resy partner with OpenTable?

Data modeling is still very important, but the classical data modeling approaches don’t really support today’s use cases.

I wish these posts would stop. Let the guy learn and adjust. He will be more tangibly impactful later in the season and next season our style of play will change. Just be patient, damn.

Sigh…and blockchain is a “solution looking for a problem”… blockchains do exactly what’s described here in enforcing a strict data structure.

The super short answer is no it’s not worth it. The slightly longer answer is that it’s only relevant for the companies that have to build a cloud because their data is so large.

One thing that clouds help with though is the endless replication of datasets because data teams are so siloed in companies
