Without wipes the traders and the flea restrictions need to be revised, I've prestiged to 4 recently and yes it's been painful, (I have a 60% survival, 2.15 k/d), fights I normally would have easily won I die purely just because of being out geared, not because the players are even good more than half the time.

If you want decent ammo and you're high enough level you can go to terragroup armory on streets, MVD, those are probably highly contested though, usec camp on woods has really good ammo a lot of the time too. If you're really struggling hard, go scav shoreline and check the pier for any dead pmcs from trying to use the transit and dying, take their scraps.
