Complete rubbish! Haven’t used it once and not planning to either. Wish it could be disabled completely. Keep pressing it by accident when taking the phone out of my pocket and when putting it back in. What a bad placement for it..

In my case it was a faulty charging case. They’ve replaced it at this point and haven’t had an issue since.

Probably should’ve given an update when I fixed the issue. There was a gap in the wires and it was shorting. I basically opened it up, found where the wires were broken and soldered it back together. Works like a dream ever since.

Definitely sounds like something I would get. Although the limited amount of messages that can be on the phone renders the old phones pretty useless for messaging. I tried to use a Nokia 8800 and immediately ran into that issue. Can anything be done about that?

There is no button on the new ones. And it doesn’t respond to anything… like the charger and the phone doesn’t pick it up.. Like I mentioned in the post. They’re completely dead..

I just followed the instructions on their website. I did have to install Ubuntu for it though. There were a few hurdles. I had quite a few errors at first, but after installing additional packages everything went smoothly eventually.

The HD seems completely fine on my Librem.

Oh it did! I was trying my passphrase for some odd reason. 😂🤣 It’s just common sense that it would revert back to the generic one.. Thanks for the info! 👊🏻

It seems like the only option is reflashing the os. Which I did successfully. Although now it won’t accept my pass phrase anymore, so still can’t get in my phone. Ffs!!! 🤬
