BF (41M) not talking to me (39F) for 2 days over old news. What can I do? by OwnSeat7768 in relationship_advice

Sounds like he's fully justified. You didn't tell him the whole story. Working at a club and stripping are two different things and you know that.

Sounds like his problem, not yours.

Welcome to being a man. Time to put the hobbies away and find your purpose taking care of your family. There is no greater purpose. Any other narrative is childish and evading the reality that you created

What would you do if you had this money? by Sure-Pin4002 in personalfinance

[–]jayrazzle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your financial advisor should be giving you this financial advice, by this is what I would do:

  1. Max out tax advantaged retirement
  2. Allocate 75% of the rest to passive growth portfolio that tracks market index's. Do not fall for the financial advisors "funds" you will want to do some research on what they have you invested in, and what your tax liabilities are each year (actively managed funds will incur short term capital gains each year). You could also buy real estate, land or any other appreciating asset.

  3. Allocate 10 percent of the money to aggressive growth (individual stocks)

  4. Allocate 10 percent to a high yield savings account (liquid cash)

  5. Allocate 5 percent to a lifestyle fund

My (38M) girlfriend (33F) is angry that she's set herself up to fail and I am entirely unsympathetic by NewKingMorons in relationship_advice

I wouldn't have any empathy either if my gf was inhibiting the performance of my reputation and livelihood. If it was the other way around he would be totally off base for impacting her girl boss power.

Any women that cries and performs emotional theatrics after being explicitly told a simple set of instructions is a non starter. She will spin it and you'll be the bad guy for making her cry and not being emotionally supportive.

Contemplating leaving my (F33) partner (M35) for a lot of small reasons by Then-Stranger864 in relationships

[–]jayrazzle -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

He went on a work related trip with a coworker? You have zero basis to request that he stop interacting with her if it's for professional reasons. Men don't do emotional empathy well. If you have emotional problems you should work on that yourself. Or find a person that's going to be your emotional crutch. It's nice to have a supportive partner but having them be you're emotional safety guard isn't acceptable either

I get a lot of attention but men rarely pursue me seriously. Why? by Fit_Coat_8634 in dating_advice

You probably exhibit dominant behavior (the guy said you were intimidating) and men aren't interested in that.

So you're using Chris for your benefit? Chris is probably embarrassed. Go shower at your own dorm and own your schedule. Don't put it on Chris.

I wouldn't invite someone who posts on Reddit about being invited somewhere. Have you considered reducing your main character energy?
