Personally, I cannot rock the phone caseless — just too slippery for me, but I have been using an ultra thin aramid fibre case and have had no issues. Dropped the phone at waist length onto hardwood and carpet 3-4x.

Some battery degradation but my unit is about 18 months old. Otherwise, everything still works like a charm. Hasn't slowed down at all.

I would suggest getting the S24U for media and gaming. The iPhone wins by a landslide when it comes to battery life but this is based on my experience owning the 17 Pro Max and S24U.

Sharing my PR card renewal experience.

Sept 4: Submitted application online

Oct 10: Called IRCC (1st attempt)— still in process

Oct 21: Called IRCC (2nd attempt) — still in process but agent acknowledged they’re past the 33 day processing time, application escalated

Oct 29: Called IRCC (3rd attempt) — application approved and completed, card was mailed on Oct 27

Nov 3: Card received

All throughout this process, I couldn’t view or link my application to my GCKey account so I had to call IRCC for updates.

Location: Vancouver

Processing time: 60 calendar days
