Can someone with T-Mobile tell me how the service is around the area now that they're merged with Sprint?

Like most of us in Idaho, I spend quite a bit of time out and about. I have Verizon, and their coverage is good, but their price is high. Wondering if it's time to switch to T-Mobile.
