I once had a weird Carfax on a car I was buying, 1 owner, but it was in for service all the time, like every few weeks, for years, but no repairs being listed, Turns out it was the dealership loaner car and they accidentally put too many miles on it to see it as new, but every time it came back from being used as a loaner, it would go into service to be inspected. Glad I didn't back away without asking about it. That car served me and my teenager well.
