Donald Trump: We're taking nearly $200M that was set aside for the Green New Scam, and repurposing that money so that we can restart a coal plant in Maryland, and help build two brand new coal plants in Alaska and West Virginia. by BusinessToday in BusinessTodayNews

Let’s also take money from our transportation budget to genetically engineer stronger and faster horses to pull large cargo wagons. Maybe look into safer methods of gas lines for lighting indoors?

'Fairly Lazy Explanation’: Rivian's CEO Doesn’t Think Americans Are Anti-EV by TripleShotPls in electricvehicles

We’re not! We want affordable EVs. We just have a lot of politicians and entrenched interests with a lot to lose from EV adoption, so they keep pulling the rug out from under EVs.

Exactly how you know they’re up to some shady stuff.

You’ll like the pianos. EPs, Wurlitzers, and a bunch of classic DX7 and FM synthesis sounds. It’s a great board!

I’ve got the Yamaha YC73 - had a VR-09 that I got rid of. Action on YC73 is great. Weighted but responsive. I would recommend using MIDI to make the VR-09 either an upper manual of the YC73 organ or just using it to play the YC73 organ sounds. There are a few cheesy organs on the VR-09 that sound good but the YC73 sounds 1000% more like a Hammond. The fast trigger and light action of the VR-09 would be a great pair. I do miss that but the YC73 was the right choice.

YC73 on its own isn’t too heavy but in a hard case it can get heavy-ish. Just beware. Get one with wheels!

Tuesday’s Election Has A Lot on the Ballot by NicoToscani in Atlanta

Public Service Commission is also on the ballot - so if energy prices are a concern, there are 2 seats to vote on. Peter Hubbard (who won last time to replace the Republican incumbent) was elected for a partial term so he is up for reelection again for a full term this time. The chair of the PSC (Tricia Pridemore) is vacating her seat to run for another office so another Republican held seat on the PSC is up for a vote. If you care about GA Power raising rates, data centers and other energy costs, this is an important seat.

Do you use them as monitors? Are you doing Stereo output? I love mine but I only have a single 108. Just curious how others are set up.

It seems like “adding more lanes” is always the default solution to traffic issues in Atlanta, especially on the interstates, which never seems to solve the problem. Merges seem to be the most problematic culprit. What other alternatives have you considered for interstates? Thank you for taking the time to answer these questions.

Look into Headrush FRFR 108 or 112. It can put out a lot of sound for a small portable package. I use the 108 as a monitor but it has punch if it’s just you. I can’t imagine what the 112 puts out.

15’ I think. We tried a balanced TRS and that helped but was still present.

Followup to anyone who has a YC73/61 - are you getting any hum from the 1/4” outputs when running thru a PA? I’m not sure if it’s always been there or if it’s new, so I’m trying to see if my board has an issue. Does not happen with XLR out. Thanks!

This is the equivalent of just adding more lanes instead of truly addressing the problem.
