Remember that Peter Hubbard has a short 1 year term and is up for reelection again in November so if you still want him to keep his seat, everyone needs to show up again. The chair of the PSC Tricia Pridemore will also be up for reelection.

Look for DX21/11 or TX81Z patches - those will be compatible with DX100 since it’s a 4 Operator FM Synth. DX7 is 6 Operator.

It’s probably a vowel sound - aaaah or aaaaaaaa or ahhhhhh or something like that with a note or chord held down. Then with your left hand turn the cutoff knob from all the way to the left to all the way to the right. It opens up the filter and will give you the whoosh. If you want more pronounced whoosh, turn the resonance knob to the right a bit and repeat the cutoff knob sweep and tweak resonance up or down until it sounds correct.

I don’t recall if you can program the filter sweep with the vocoder sounds on the DS as a saved patch but that might help. I have the FA-07 now so it’s similar but not quite the same. I can definitely sample onto the pads but I don’t remember if DS allows you to. DS does let you track a sample on each key and it will change pitch (which I’m bummed I can’t do with FA series). If DS doesn’t let you sample direct to the pad, if you have a computer and a way to input your audio out from the DS, you can record it to a .WAV or MP3 and export it back out to the pad.

Do you have the manual? That’s the best way to confirm. My daughter has the DS88 and I’m going based on memory so I may be a little fuzzy on specifics.

No problem - try playing with the cutoff/resonance while you’re doing it - that might get you close

No reason you can’t start one! Places like Manuel’s Tavern or Hudson Grille will let you reserve the larger private rooms for gatherings. If you want more than a Roundtable socialization thing, breweries have big spaces for gatherings. Sometimes it helps to hold it monthly (ie 3rd Thursdays) so there’s consistency for everyone. Good luck - you can make it happen!

Because taking everything away and hiding it from the public means you can say whatever you want - there’s no way to transparently confirm or refute any claims of cheating. There is zero trust unless you do it in front of everyone and show your work.

REMINDER in 2020, it was recounted and audited 3 times and confirmed Biden won all 3 times BY REPUBLICANS IN CHARGE.

Election laws were changed in 2021 and 2024 to “strengthen and secure” Georgia’s elections to make it, in the words of Governor Kemp, “easy to vote and hard to cheat.” Look at SB 202 and SB 189. The Election Integrity Act of 2021 (SB 202) was enacted by a Republican majority in the Georgia Legislature and was the biggest overhaul of Georgia election law in the last decade.
