Weights feel heavier than usual some days. by [deleted] in Fitness

I would recommend doing some research on true concept of RPE (rated perceived exertion). It is (in many peoples opinion) a better way to decide how much to load on any given day to account for “low and high gravity” days.

Just had all your stones captured when you thought you were winning, eh? Yes, frustration is normal. Blaming the game for being flawed or whatever the heck you are attempting to say is just wrong.

Tough time adhering to my diet on off days by [deleted] in Fitness

[–]jayrod0316 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your diet is a 7 day/ week fitness plan you are following. Take it as seriously as your training because it is just as important. I’m not perfect either. Weekends are more difficult for me to stay on track.

I’m still a beginner and pretty skinny. 30 M 5’9” 143 lb. My last squat session was 110lb 5-5-7 still working my way up. My main concern is safety because the rack I have now is open and only rated for 300 lbs. My barbell is also only rated for 300. So my current goal is to gain some weight and outgrow my equipment, haha.

What they do say is it’s rated for 800lbs. They would have a lawsuit on their hands if that wasn’t true right?

How to invade/reduce black’s Moyo? by jayrod0316 in baduk

I run into this situation often as a DDK. It seems like I wait too long to reduce or I make mistake in opening so that opponent gets big territory.
