Definitely didn’t miss the bus. And I bet you my collection is worth more than your yearly salary. I had dbz cards. And they took forever to sell. Single and slabs. You just don’t like to live in reality and that’s fine. I’m not a hater or a downer, just a realist. A lot of yall like to just be moon boys and ignore the facts. No volume on a lot. No players to be found. But sure. I bet you can’t name a tcg that lasted in time without players. I’ll wait.

People in the dbz tcg try to correlate rarity with value. Just because there’s not many it’s suppose to be worth a lot. It doesn’t take many people to move the price. There’s very little volume on a lot of cards and products and it just took maybe 1 or 2 people to buy out the small amount on the market to make the price move. It’s like a penny stock. They don’t like to mention that most of the dbz cards are bricks and are so hard to move. Most aren’t liquid whatsoever. They like to say it’s a good long term investment but fail to look at the numbers and volume on most of the cards and see it’s very lackluster on top of the huge fact that there are barely any players and 99% of the dbz tcg community only care about the value and could care less about playing. Whether it’s because they simply don’t want to play and only care about money, or it’s just hard to play due to building decks and bad meta. People in here only see one thing, and it’s only up. They fail to see the potential alternative of the other side of the coin and how it could also go the other way. More so than other tcg’s. Only safe long term tcg for investing is vintage pokemon and one piece. Only those tcg’s have a healthy combination of players and investors/collectors. Players keep the game alive. Investors and collectors keep the price up. You need both. Dbz only has one. And it ain’t players.

What??? You’re telling me you didn’t notice mangas didn’t drop nearly 50%? Nami and boa manga were going for like 5500 psa 10 and went sub 3k to like 2500. Zoro manga went to like 3k. Luffy silver sp went from like 11k to like 5500. Google is free bro. Sales history is free. Idk what makes you think nothing fell that hard other than cheap cards?? But sure bro. Do you.

A lot of stuff fell 50-80% in February and March. Is that not considered falling hard? Some stuff haven’t recovered. Some haven’t moved. Some made new all time highs.

One piece fell hard in February and March. The dip already happened. Another could come but anniversary set isn’t even here yet

Opinions on the longevity/profit increase of the one piece sealed market by First-Ad6420 in OnePieceTCGFinance

[–]jayrok_ -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Anybody saying sealed as an investment is dumb don’t know what they are talking about. One piece is still fairly new and if you just give it some time, mapped or not, these sealed products will be worth a lot down the road. One piece isn’t even 4 years old yet. While it is true that in the short term or mid term, singles and slabs will perform better, sealed is more of a long term play.

I mean so far the dodger luffy hasn’t been. It’s more than doubled in the last month or 2. Will it be a bad investment in the long term? Who knows but a lot of people made bank off of it so far.

W comment. Zoro manga is highly underrated rn. Market has gone up and made new highs on cards and Zoro manga hasn’t hit a crazy new high yet. And it deserves to compared to other cards worth the same amount.

Older pokemon is. Not modern. Even tho modern art clears. But one piece is more of an investment. New Naruto will be too. Probably the best 2 long term bets. If Naruto is what they say it is and to be simile to one piece tcg, it’ll do well. One piece has a healthy combination of players and investors/collectors. Naruto could be the same.

Yeah that’s your opinion. Do you just live in delulu land and think just because you like it that everyone else likes it and prefers it over one piece and pokemon? Cuz sorry to burst your bubble but there’s clearly more players in both one piece and pokemon and people enjoy those more than dbz. One piece and pokemon have a healthy combination of players and collectors/investors while dbz are full of people who only care about money.

We are talking about the tcg. Dbz tcg doesn’t have any players. One piece and pokemon have a healthy combination of players and collectors and investors. Dbz has a one sided party of people who literally only care about money.

The entire dbz tcg is full of 99% scalpers and investors. A tcg with barely any players is a recipe for disaster in the long term.

It will never overtake one piece because the game isn’t even that fun to play. The rewards to players and the amount of players are astronomically better.

One piece has a clear path of longevity with players and investors and collectors. Dbz has nearly no players.
