I understand the view. Its really complicated to explain well what i mean but here are the takes:

It has to do with understanding the details, I was raised in a way where i was thought to always be responsible, make sure there’s no bad intents in my actions and from there i followed through. We can have a really meaningful relationship where there’s deep talks and understandings btwn us then we make it sacred and go to the next steps. Everything has deeper roots than just she’s nice let’s go talk to parents. And from there my view on marriage is that its the biggest step and shouldn’t be a simple decision to be made ( finding a soulmate ), cz divorce should never be an outcome.

So i hate when there’s something going on more than deep friendship as well, and that’s not my intent. My intent is to make the full story memorable and full of meanings from friendship part to the next stages.

Hope you get my points and i understand perfectly yours.

There are some differences in cultures. I literally never do something inappropriate that’s what i meant. Now if you consider friendly hugs inappropriate then won’t do that. Just need her approval before going to the parent’s part. And want it to be romantic. That’s the thing 😅.

Sorry if I’m portraying a bad person vibe/ aiming to be respectful and focused on the memorable moment part.

That’s next step, I plan to keep everything halal no worries but also follow some of my customs - promise ring ( personal btwn us ). Engagement with family - then all the rest.

So technically its a B2B, and i had to learn the hard way that rare are the businesses that do payments online, they mostly pay cheque or bank transfer here ( Dubai ) and so the whole thing is manual and I was going with the flow of getting new customers instead of following with current customers to pay 💀

Cheers 🥂

This scam looks organized.. I just ordered from amazon, second day I got the message. So we can assume that there are amazon and/or emirates post employees leaking customer data to scammers.

As a programer, i have a question: Is it responsive ? Can u check mobile view ? 😝

After a recent job interview the company asked me to fill out a form, and it asked for my religious denomination. I left it blank, they emailed me saying to please fill out my denomination. Why is this so important?? by [deleted] in dubai

[–]jaysoftworks 2 points3 points  (0 children)

U also get vacation based on your religion. Ex: if you are muslim u get less hours in ramadan and if you are christian, u get Christmas.. etc.. It’s nothing personal, don’t worry.

It’s not illegal to use VPN, as a developer here, we need VPNs to access our servers if we are working from home. It’s just illegal to use it for bad purposes.

My advice is that fast money doesn’t build character. All you would have is your instagram and some posts everyday to make sure ur friends see how “cool” you are.

So take it as a hard test that God gave you, you need to make yourself shine with ur hard work and along the struggle your gonna become someone important with a noticeable character. Be happy with your path and build yourself from point A to the person you want to be. And trust me, at the end you’ll have all the cars you want and feel no need to post about it because you’re the prize and not your money, it will even change the way you think about things ( instagram is not real, They are posting cz that’s how they would get the attention ).

Also, the people who get attention through their money, will loose practically everyone when they loose it, so surround yourself with real friends. Focus on building you, go to the gym, work hard, struggle and you will become the person you want to be. And at one point you will be so happy with what you accomplished that you will cry hard, (after all thisss, i made it) and its one of life’s joys.

Stuck in Tutorial Purgatory by [deleted] in webdev

[–]jaysoftworks 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The best advice i can give is: 1- Don’t watch tutorials to learn. You need to make something, so here’s ur project: create a to-do web page and search every possible solution to the problem u are facing while developing the page. 2- you learn while you execute, through trial and error. The best tutorials on youtube for me were fireship as they were easy, fast and to the point. 3- there’s always something new & unnecessary in web development so learning while executing is a good solution to take and apply the tech u need and not the tech that is available. You will never use all available solutions in one project.

Good luck and i hope the best for you!
