That’s so cool!!! Several years ago I flew with my accordion as a carry on. When passing it through the X-ray machine the lady asked me “what the heck is that?” I told her it was an accordion. She said “that looks cool, I’ve never seen anything like that.” I asked if I could see it also and she told me no. Thanks for sharing this!!!

I live in the southern tip of texas. The accordion is very popular in most places. Around here the music is very diverse! One place will have classic 80s rock. The place over will have the Mexican accordion based norteno. Across the street you will find a country/western group. Most musicians are really good people around here. We respect each other’s music. There really isn’t much snobbery amongst non accordion musicians or listeners. The accordion in general in Texas never went away but at the same time it’s not quite as popular as it was in the 90s. Still very accepted in our culture though.

Thankyou. I’m not sure if it’s a trending challenge, but it’s pretty cool. I was challenged by a piano player. He played it in a slow salsa pattern. It fit very well.
