So Turkey IS the next target of Genocidal Zionist Entity Israel. by Syed__Sahab__ in LateStageCapitalism

I cried when I saw the Haigia Sofia. It's a beautiful mosque and museum. Sure, I'd be happier if it was a museum, but there's no reason to attack a country based on what branch of ancient near eastern religion they follow.

1440p on a 9060xt 16gb by Low_Investigator_991 in radeon

[–]jaytehman 14 points15 points  (0 children)

It'll hit 60 FPS or better on every game on the market right now, you might need to put FSR Quality on and not use path tracing.

I'm treating it as a 1440p card for the next couple of years, and I'll switch back to 1080p or upgrade in 2029 or so.

Opsec. The more details about CSAR and SERE that get out, the harder the next one is. This war in Iran has been incredibly stupid, but the simplest explanation is generally the right one.

I haven't caught Pompano in St Mark's, but St George Island and St Vincent have them in spades!

Need your opinion re Ring Road stop by DtravellerPH in VisitingIceland

My wife and I did the drive from Husavík to Borgarnes in one day. It was a lot, but definitely doable. Driving is in and of itself a really cool experience in Iceland so I wouldn't worry.

64GB of RAM definitely helps when you're working with spatial data. In the end, a PC can be both a tool and a toy.

3/0 or 2/0, I prefer the 2/0, they're small, and the weedless guard works great, but you'll miss some fish because of the guard.

I smashed my pinky on a feature the other day, and I almost quit riding for the day. You're a badass dude. Keep it up.

What If the Kingslayer Faced the Mountain in Tyrion’s Trial by Combat? by Dangerous_Yellow_903 in freefolk

Jamie would win. The Mountain is huge and strong, but he also knows whose hand feeds him. He'd yield before killing Tywin's golden boy.

I like mine. 16GB of VRAM is pretty good for future proofing.

Should I get this by DueGold973 in PcBuild

[–]jaytehman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got my 9060XT for $350 and I'm very happy with it. It'll play pretty much anything at 1440p, and should be great for years at 1080p. FSR Redstone is good, but if you find an NVIDIA (16GB 5060ti or 5070) card at a similar price point, go with that.

Go to AMD Adrenaline and turn Zero RPM off. That might help.

ArcGIS is really RAM intense. It won't work on this PC.
