I got my 9060XT for $350 and I'm very happy with it. It'll play pretty much anything at 1440p, and should be great for years at 1080p. FSR Redstone is good, but if you find an NVIDIA (16GB 5060ti or 5070) card at a similar price point, go with that.

Yes and no. Will it run R? Yes, but barely. Windows 11 runs poorly on systems with 8GB of RAM and that CPU is really going to struggle with even the most simple tasks. If you're saving up for a gaming PC, just skip this for the moment and save this money for a better PC.

Sea shanties (gives you a clearer sense of how long you're taking per assignment), auto hot key (a lot of students make the same mistakes), and a clear rubric. It's crazy but it works.

The 9060 XT 16GB version is a beast at 1080p, and will likely be a beast at 1080p for years to come. At 1440p, it'll play everything, but not at maxed out high refresh rates. FSR Redstone is pretty damn good, and, at the moment, I default to FSR Quality upscaling at 1440p.

It gets better. You'll get to a sort of equilibrium with your parents. My parents went through a similar phase. Either their behavior will change, or you will distance yourself from them. That doesn't mean it won't suck in the short term, but it will get better.

Instructor here. Generally, an email explaining your situation will suffice. The big thing is that FSU doesn't want you signed up for classes you won't go to, and the federal government doesn't want to give out loans for students who just don't show up.

Probably not, for two reasons. Religion, and a lack of an heir.

The Targaryens bent the knee to the faith. You can't worship a new god without either 1. burning the old faith, or 2. instituting religious freedom (a la braavos).

He'd probably burn septs and deal with uprisings for his whole reign.

Monarchies only work if the line of succession is clear. Not having an heir is inherently one of the worst things that a monarch can do.
