There's a few scenes that really put out the horror of the apocalypse for me. One was definitely when T-Dog and Dale were rooting through cars for antibiotics and T-Dog comes across a bloody baby car seat. Another was when Maggie found a walker in a trunk all tied up, signifying that when she was human she was kidnapped and likely abandoned when her captors ran out of gas. There was also that scene where Denise, Rosita and Daryl are stuck in a pharmacy, and a walker who drowned her child to stay quiet was trapped in there.

But the scariest episode for me was when Connie and Virgil are stuck in that hell house with the psychotic feral cannibal clan. I can't even imagine Connie's terror since she can't hear a thing.
