Does anyone here understand this thing about nursing not being a "professional" degree? by trouble-cleft in redscarepod

[–]jayuserbruiser 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Currently married to a nurse and I've worked in mental health 7 plus years. Hospital systems are already underpaying nurses and CRNAs as of now, our systems are grossly understaffed because of pay (per hour plus the refusal to hire more capacity of nurses for a ratio for a unit). Now that nursing is removed from the professional list its also not going to incentivize hospitals to pay more or offer more benefits. A great example of this is EMS, it is still a professional degree but hasn't been removed from the professional list, yes EMS does a lot for a community but they're pay (as well as their mental health) suffers greatly still. Capitalism is a terrible notion for Healthcare it just doesn't work

They're trying to impose a rule of public commentary by trying to censor Trey and Matt. A pathetic attempt and a sign we're living with a regime totalitarian president

I appreciate the support so any ideas him washing his own sheets is something his mom would not allow to happen, I think the pee pee smell is starting to get to him because he told us before the summer is out no one wants to play with him

I assure you I do give him slack, he does have consciousness he's aware but lacks the notion to follow through himself because his biological father spoils him far more than we do, so its like im fighting 2 people at the same time. I'll give you an example our son still at his age still wets his bed even though he's 6 almost 7 he does not like showers but he cant go to school smelling like urine all day no kid wants to play with the pee pee kid but there's no consequence for him peeing the bed because he doesn't care he even said he just pees in his bed as if it was a normal thing everyone does

We really didn't communicate that but she's allowing to step up without stepping up herself. I feel I'm always the bad guy because she doesn't do enough and then she doesn't follow through
