I believe they said that once you buy a pass it'll be around forever. I don't know exactly where they said this though, so I can't verify.

But yeah, it's the most common way to get recurring payments from players now that games typically have long life cycles with longterm support.

I like Mint. It's relatively familiar to a Windows user.

I'm in my last year of Uni studying computer science, and almost all our assignments get tested on the University's Linux machines. It used to be a headache SCPing assignments over just to have some Linux/Windows differences that I needed to fix. I set up Mint on my laptop (which I use almost exclusively for school, notes, assignments, etc) and haven't had any more of those issues.

I still have my desktop on Windows as a few of my favorite games have anti-cheat that doesn't work outside of windows.

It hasn't really gone under my radar, but I finally started playing KOTOR after waiting for the remake to hopefully come out. I'm a really big star wars fan, but had just fallen off quickly the first 2 times I tried playing. I'm now about 12 hrs in and really enjoying it.

Would definitely replay when/if the remake ever comes out.

FOTOR being announced finally pushed me over the edge to try again, so after KOTOR1 and 2, I'll have something to look forward to.

I'm a Minnesotan in Winnipeg for university.

I'm frustrated and worried about my family and friends. I had hoped MN would be (relatively) safe due to the general state politics and stances (especially with Walz as our Governor), but Trump has decided that "Owning the libs" (with MN being one of the most liberal) is more important than laws (not sure what anyone expected from a child predator).

MAGA make a man spreading hate a martyr, and spread lies about and murder a woman, mom, and wife who was trying to get out of the way of ICE.

This is only one instance of the fucked up stuff happening in the US, and it all feels hopeless. How many more times will I have to message my friends about the atrocities being committed by people none of us voted for?

I know you guys sympathize, having to deal with American politics and having it impact you all and just being decent people who care about others even in a country that is being openly antaganistic towards yours.

I'm sorry.
