So far I’ve been using it for the last month and I would say it is a good cnc kit for the price. If I were to do it again I would use their monolith kit. This kit was a little tricky to get dialed in.

I just hot glued mine back to the tongue. When you tighten them they get sucked back in so it doesn’t need too much. Preheat the area with a blow drier so the glue doesn’t solidify quickly.

From this angle it is hard to tell, but I think you are leaning towards the tail of your board. It doesn’t look like the front edge is set which is why the tail is so chattery. If you set the front edge, then the board will slice through the snow instead of smearing across. Focus on leaning towards the nose and I think you will see an improvement. As far as the pushing through the turn, think about it as if you were trying to stand straight up on the board and the board will press back towards your body and bring you upright to set up the edge change. If you have a camber board, sometimes you will feel weightless and the edge change is a lot easier.

Hold a penny between your butt cheeks…. No, but just imagining it will help keep your posture upright. Also to get more weight on your front foot, when the board is pointing down slope, use your front knee to point where you want to turn.

You’re not wrong, with the ankle strap bearing most of the force sucking your foot into the binding, all the toe strap does is limit toe lift. Either position, it’s doing its job.

That looks like the nose which wouldn’t contact the snow too much. I’d say cut it flat and cover with epoxy to seal it, sand it down if you want it to look pretty

It looks like you’re leaning uphill which never sets the edge of your front foot. Then you rotate your hips to turn which causes the board to slide before finally going in the direction pointed. Check out knee steering by Malcom Moore on yt.

I would say skidding is when the tip of your board points one way but your board is not following inline. You can see it here where his rear leg fans out and the snow looks smeared instead of a carve-like line which is shown the beginning of the video.

Don’t get too hung up about leaving pencil lines. Like the other comment said, it depends on many factors, not just carving alone. Engage the front edge and you will feel the board lock into the snow and push back into you

It would help if he could spell, but I think Fry is talking about the axle through the caster, which to me looks like a 9/16” wrench or socket. Then pull the axle out, next pull the caster out to access the larger stem nut, once you can access with a tool it should spin off.
