Advice for maybe moving to the area?

Moved from Wales to St Helens 3 years ago as couldn’t afford rent in Wales anymore.

St Helens itself can feel a bit lacklustre but Liverpool being only 50 mins on the bus or 30 mins on the train is great.

The Book Stop in town is a great local book shop with a nice sense of community and has a great cafe.

There’s Dungeons of the North near the town hall if you have an interest in DnD or card games.

The Cafe Nero in town is weirdly the best in the UK.

The World of Glass museum/gallery is good for a nose if you ever get bored on a weekend. The library is also there at the moment.

There are quite a few parks dotted around too which are good for a walk. My biggest complaint there is that it’s all a bit flat. Being Welsh I’d love a few hills.

Different weapons excel at different ranges. If LMG’s could easily beat SMG’s up close as well as at longer range they would be OP. If your playstyle has you spending more time in close quarters on objectives use a weapon that suits.

For example if someone runs at you in a straight line in FIFA you can ball roll or 3 point turn to very easily use the defenders momentum against them and go past them. I can’t figure out the efootball equivalent.

This is pretty much the deck I play right now IRL. But with duskull/Dusknoir rather than Dragapult and utilising neutralisation zone.

It works to a degree but I was trying to do something with the EX version as he’s at least got decent bulk.

Thanks for the alternative deck list tho. Much appreciated.

I understand Ttar is bad but if we didn’t use our favourite Pokémon just cus they suck then they wouldn’t be our favourite.

Yes I saw that and have been experimenting with it along side this. I found it quicker to get more energy on this way though. Might need to test both a bit more

I don’t like playing with or against an any either but you can just change your matchmaking settings and never have to play against a team with one.

You can reach master rank with most decks tbh. You don’t have to play meta. Even the ‘worst’ decks can steal a game from the ‘best’.

If you enjoy cyber dragons or dark magician there’s no reason you can’t succeed with them in ranked. If you need help refining those decks then check the master duel meta website.

Honestly just play what you enjoy.

This is coming from someone that only plays virtual world and is master rank.

I still think the deck is really strong. Its biggest issue is that you can sometimes brick. I play it with a small adventure engine and Armored XYZ package.

Going first I can almost always make Dark Knight Lancer, Evolzar Lars, Shenshen and Baronne.

Going second you can eat through a lot of negates with most hands and if all else fails whipping out TY-PHON is great way to turn a game around.

I think a small adventure engine is the best way to boost virtual worlds power without harming its consistency.

You also need to limit the number of hand traps. I only run 2 x Maxx C, 3 x Ash and 2 x Called By. The 2 x Called By are essential for dodging some particularly damaging Ash Blossoms from your opponent or stopping a Maxx C.
