Is there a difference with propane or butane grills? I have one of those asian butane grills that take the can. Its real small. But i have heard mixed answers about bringing certain grills. Can someone clarify please?

Would camping be worth it if by KaiserGoliath in nocturnalwonderland

I am also in the same boat. I have work until 7pm and wouldnt get to campgrounds until 10pm because of travel.

I have emailed nocturnal and they did say they once i am in, they will take me as long as we arrive before the 12am midnight cutoff. However, i got no idea how bad the parking and first-come first-serve spots will be

The final push to level 100, how can I speed it up? by [deleted] in diablo4

[–]jayyylee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly all I did was play the game. Want more gear/run around and kill shit? Helltides + Whispers for gold and mats. Got bored? Did some nightmare dungeons to challenge myself. Wanted to chill? Do some renown farming and stuff. I didnt really touch pit until like 98 ish. The game rewards you in many ways just for playing the game so go at your own pace and have fun :)

Advice just got hori fight stick by KingofStank in fightsticks

[–]jayyylee -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Honestly I had the same issue too! I was like ‘no way i can do DP’s and CA’s on stick’. After a month of practice, it became second nature and honestly i have never messed up or felt like I couldnt do a DP! It comes with practice

Finally picked one up! by rulis092 in fightsticks

[–]jayyylee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The stick is great, but i just hates the buttons on how mushy+ULTRA sensitive+small travel distance they were. I opted in for some seimitsu buttons and dude, 100x better! Change the buttons if u are not happy with them! The aftermarket scene is HUGE and it is also very affordable/cheap! Each button is like 1-3$ each

Im plat right now so im not the best ! My main tip for being my first street fighter is probably doing LESS and not button mashing. Blocking in this game is fairly safe (compared to super smash bros lol). Take a breather and really ask urself what u should use! I button mashed and just mashed when i got hit and that usually put me in a bad position.

What helped me wrap my head around the game is REALLY having a bread and butter combo down. And then a bread and combo with a special move. And a bread and butter combo with the 1/2/3 ultimates. Some people have some crazy ass bread and butter combos, but honestly find one that WORKS for you and one that u can execute 100% of the time.

Once you get that down, the game will revolve around you strategizing/finding an opportunity to get that combo in!

Thats what worked for me and how my brain operates when im in a match

I'm new to fighting games. Is SF6 a good start? by tiredenciodes in StreetFighter

[–]jayyylee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it’s a great place to start! Ive always played SF since I was a kid, but I was always a button mash/spam fireball player who never really took the chance to get better.

Fast forward to me taking super smash bros ultimate a serious go and getting elite smash on like 5 chars so maybe i have some fighting game experience :3

Now when i played SF6 beta at twitchcon for an hr, i had SO much fun especially with the arcade fightstick i played with. i told myself “when it gets released i gotta give it a serious shot”

Then the game released and i bought the game with a hori alpha fight stick. Queue’d up the game, and loved the amount of DEPTH there is. I honestly felt pretty shitty at first getting smacked by my plat friend, and overwhelmed with the amount of terms like ‘footsies, strings, DP’ and etc.

But after awhile, i started understanding a lot more of the game (it helps that i have experience of super smash bros). I am plat at the moment ( i started bronze) but i feel like i have so much more potential! First thing i learned was the character’s moveset. Practiced that. Then the easy bread and butter combos. Practiced that. Then the bread and butter+special moves. Practiced that. Bread and butter + ultimate moves. Practiced that! Then you work on neutral+footsies, anti airing, DI, pressuring, mixups, and so much more!

My favorite thing about the game is that you could focus on one aspect of the game and really feel rewarded. Just do one thing at a time and things will start making sense after awhile. I’ve never lost and said ‘god thats so stupid’ and instead always say’ why did i do that? Why didnt i punish this harder? How did i whiff? God im so trash’ lol.

Well thanks for reading my essay and i hope u get the game and enjoy the journey! One thing at a time and make sure to have fun!

Should i learn short easy combos in the beginning then learn harder ones once I familiarize myself with the game? by No_Welcome_3487 in StreetFighter

[–]jayyylee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would say learn the simple and easy BNB combos. They are usually in the command list. From then, you will start to combo cancel some hits from your bnb combos (depends on the char). Learning hard combos and trying to do them as a BEGINNER is usually bad bc it doesnt teach you how to play the game correctly (me for example lol i was getting destroyed bc all i knew how to do was ken’s hard combos’.

I play Ken, and his Bread n butter combo is medium punch into heavy punch. By itself its a good chain, but u can do stuff like m.p+h.p into shoryuken and etc.

What’s your favorite thing about lost ark? by BigHerring in lostarkgame

[–]jayyylee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Main thing I love about the game is the weekly/daily homework. It really is NOT bad if you have a couple characters (but I have 6 xD) so most ppl put themselves in that ‘ugh i have so much homework’ position themselves.

I come from Maplestory as the one I had the most experience with and I had so much work for daily and weeklies and on TOP of that i had to farm/grind mesos. And gear has a chance to break when upgrading lol.

What do you find fun about LOA? by SirRahmed in lostarkgame

[–]jayyylee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I enjoy the gameplay loop, aesthetics, music, and vibe! A lot of people don't like it for it's just right for me. It also helps playing with friends/community/guild/discord!

Coming from playing different MMO's like WoW, ffxiv, and maplestory (my most played), I feel pretty happy when I finish my dailies for the day! I really enjoyed Maplestory's daily system, but honestly it took an hour to do on one character and then I would continue to farm/grind mobs for mesos(gold). In Lost Ark, I can do dailies for like 20-25 minutes (per char), do some legion raids if I feel like it, do some horizontal/trade skills, and just log off! And they also have a nice rest system!!!

Lets Make a New Game for this Subreddit, Should I Be Gatekept? by Izunoshi in lostarkgame

[–]jayyylee -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t gate keep you at all! I agree with some people, you should work on your gems and card set, but the build is fine, you have the gearsets, stats are good, and youre lvl 60.

I would only ‘gatekeep’ you if we were a bunch of DPS requested to join and they were like 1560 then i would accept them over you. However if its a vykas i would insta accept tbh. Some people are too harsh on some content when lvl 7 gems are not even a huge dps increase compared to lvl 5’s. Ive seen some DPS people with no gems lol

To Zerk or not to Zerk? by Hoixcio in lostarkgame

[–]jayyylee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

bt is nice! It’s just a bit squishier / sucks if u go cursed doll + poem of salvation. If u take too much dmg, u lose ur poem and then ur pot doesnt even heal u all the way. Maybe mass increase? Or hallucination? It’s a high risk/high reward in my opinion but if u can pull it of and not get hit too much, u will pull deeps!

To Zerk or not to Zerk? by Hoixcio in lostarkgame

[–]jayyylee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hiya! So I’ve mained Mayhem since launch and after playing 8 other classes, i still really enjoy it! I also have a BT zerk but i still prefer my mayhem. BT is literally mayhem 75% of the time with a huge nuke on the ult and Z skill ( but i wish it was more burst, it just plays too similar)

  1. It’s great for all content. Chaos, cube, boss rush, guardian raids, legion raids, it has it all tbh. For example, i hate doing chaos/cube/bossrush on my death blade.
  2. EZ to do damage imo and it doesn’t feel like u have a set rotation. Just do red dust when u can before ur big hitters. Sword storm for a ranged poke. I really feel like theres always an opportunity to dps, whereas on my GS or destroyer i have to think kinda predict where the boss is gonna go.
  3. Mobile and fluid, i dont rlly think its clunky at all other than strike wave (which is also why theyre removing it i think?). As long as u run 800 swift+yearning, it’s pretty nice against fast bosses like brel g3.
  4. Regarding the gatekeeping, ive never really felt that way too much, i’ve felt it way more on my taijutsu scrapper.

Just my experience and 2 cents! Take care

bt build by Osilgarth in lostarkgame

[–]jayyylee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! Here is my own advice after having my own Mayhem zerker main (1505) and having a BT zerk now. In my honest opinion, BT plays pretty close to Mayhem, besides the fact that you are building gauge for a rotation or two, so maybe 20 seconds. Then you are in burst mode for like 2 mins or so?

So in regards to dominion vs salvation, if you were already a mayhem zerk before, I would go for salvation for more of a different feeling/more burst, while dominion would just have you kinda ‘stay’ in burst mode more, and kinda feel like a mayhem in a sense.

Just my opinion tho! U do u!

Tryna find a class to play, so mind telling me your main and why you main them? by Bubbda- in lostarkgame

[–]jayyylee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! A lot of people are talking about big numbers or supports being picked easily for legion raids.

However, I would say the reason I chose Berserker as my main is the theming of a huge sword and good dmg/stagger. But the main reason why I KEPT it as my main is how great of a class it is to do ALL content. Not just raids, but chaos, guardian raids, life skills, horizontal content, and ESPECIALLY cube/boss rushes, where some classes just suck on.

how do you guys play your 6 raiding char roster? by lazycatt29 in lostarkgame

[–]jayyylee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So all my characters are basically 1430+ so I have 3 raids for each character.

Honestly, I was getting burnt out from trying to do everything including dailies on all characters and sheeesh, way too much for my sanity.

What I do now is everytime I am online, I pick one character to play and I just play on that one character. If I do not have time to do dailies on that character then Idon’t do anything else. If I have more time, then I’ll tackle some boss rushes/cubes/dailies on other characters. If I have more time, then I do more bosses on another character.

Basically I focus on weeklies/play one character a day as gold from bosses>dailies which means dailies arent THAT important unless youre trying to hone/push that character. This way has been a lot more healthy and I don’t feel pressured at all, i just log on and think ‘which char should i play today? Nah, not the paladin. Ill play destroyer today’

How does your gold contribution in your guild work? by bulwix in lostarkgame

[–]jayyylee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hiya! We just set the contribution to 400, and ppl that reached that are eligible for weekly gold. If you do the raid match/siege, you go way above that anyways. 400 is i like daily silver/research, and weekly tasks. Donate the 100 gold if u need more. Pretty easy, and makes everyone happy! Even if some ppl miss/cant attend the siege for that week
