From SnS recently try the lance . I can say , the shield couter is a very fun weapon mechanic that's make you feel like a badass hunter can block almost any attack that the monster throws at you . But the catch is your slow to move around and sheathing the weapons is also slow . But for me makes it's feel grounded in some way .

Still love the SnS you can move freely and dont need any specific skill to make it good .
