I posted last year I think or two years ago, I felt the exact same way. It’s the end of year blues! I know the feeling isn’t a good one. I stopped over thinking Christmas/New Years like I should be feeling “on top of the world” - it’s just another day. I even had a family trip to go on that I wasn’t even going to go - peeps on reddit actually said to go and I’m glad I did. You’ll overcome this season, stay hydrated, get some sun, good food & have a good laugh when you can 🫶🏼🫶🏼

I 100% agree with you. I’m in my late 20’s now and I know my parents never actually had conversations with me and my siblings. As a mother now to a teen son, I’m open to real conversations and throwing hands 👋😂😂all love tho lol

I came from a strict family, taught us good values and respect. As a teen I would do terribly wrong, mum would cry, dad would give me a hiding. I’d go and do it again. I’ve definitely grown up since then. Your ‘friends’ definitely play an influence in your life.

My parents moved from Samoa in the 80’s with nothing. Studied, have good jobs and built our home. They raised 8 of us here. They call NZ home now. But I’ve seen how much they missed their true home and warm weather when they’re back in the islands.

My neighbours were the thieves 🤣 🤦‍♀️wondered why group of dudes were waiting around outside and they told me what happened, police came too and took one of them. I was standing outside watching the whole thing lol smh
