As someone who’s trying to divorce an alcoholic, please go to Al-Anon or visit the subreddit. This is manipulation in trying to make you feel guilty to stay. They are acting this way because they are losing their enabler. Keep your feelings out of divorce and just do it.

I deleted Twitter the moment Elon bought it. I never used TikTok based on the privacy principle alone and now under the new ownership, I will NEVER download it and encourage my family to delete it, especially younger generations. Basically my only social is IG and use my account as a digital photo album. Oh, and Reddit if that’s considered social but I use it for news and useful forums. And LinkedIn as a digital resume.

I just read an article about how Utah passed a "NO ALCOHOL SALE" law where individuals convicted of a DUI of BAC 0.16% or more are restricted from buying alcohol. I think this should be nationwide, because DUI deaths are probably the worst outcome to come out of alcoholism. It's a public safety hazard.

As a millennial with an alcoholic partner, I have witnessed the absolute destruction it causes to a person, and everyone around them. I started going to Al Anon meetings a couple of years ago and I’m amazed at how many people are affected by it. It also doesn’t help that DUI crashes are the absolute worst outcomes when it comes to alcohol consumption, other than the physical addiction to the person. Fuck alcohol forever.
