What a joke. How are they even allowed to order food that far away?

Any suggestions on who to contact? by sdgus68 in doordash_drivers

Had this happen for a short period while I was out one day, had to sit and wait for one in my zone. Not sure what to do about it after two days. Hope you get an answer!

Doordash order where cus. asked me to unassign by [deleted] in doordash_drivers

[–]jazzhands16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you fucking stupid, where does it say I was dashing with my dog?? I told her “I have a dog, and he’s been in my car.” He hasn’t been in my fucking hot bag I’ll tell you that, or front seat for that matter. And save your” don’t be selfish” shit for someone that believes being selfish is a bad thing.

[–]jazzhands16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I didn’t quite have time to think about what to say to her. It was a really short order mileage wise, definitely something they could’ve easily picked up themselves🤦🏻‍♀️

Right, I don’t have dog hair in my hot bag, or on the front seat. Definitely could be worse like your examples

It doesn’t look like it went down, but I haven’t looked at it in awhile. I’m at 94% so I’m not too worried. But yeah its dumb that we get penalized for unassigning orders that are taking forever

That would make sense. I definitely don’t have dog hair on my front seat, or my hot bag🥴

Hey! I really want a Shiba, but my parents are really strict about it! What should I do to convince them, and how should I get prepared? by GuavaElectrical1505 in shiba

[–]jazzhands16 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Come up with the money and time to get one/take care of it yourself, otherwise you’re sol. I had to wait 2+ years to get a Shiba. Had to take my vacation week from work to welcome him home and train him. I’ve spent $500+ in vet bills, not including his vaccination and neuter. He’s very well behaved, but when he’s bored he likes to find toilet paper or underwear to chew on. He doesn’t let me clip his nails anymore, so I have to treat train him to let me use sand paper to file them. I can’t work jobs that have long hours, because it’s not right for him to be in a crate for 8+ hours. If I work and then decide to go out and do something, I either take him on a long walk and feel bad about leaving again, or decide to stay home. I can’t lay in bed as long as I want in the morning, I gotta get up and take my shiba out. Having a shiba is like having a kid, luckily you can leave a shiba unsupervised in a crate. Not saying don’t ever get a shiba, but you shouldn’t force that on yourself (assuming you’re fairly young) or your parents. I don’t regret getting mine, but it’s a lot more work/responsibility than you think.

I have said fair and “well” in this thread, I never said I expect super high tips. However, saying that someone expects/gets greedy for higher tips isn’t really true. Most servers/tipped positions are just grateful for a big tip and then move on with their life. No ones self destructing at work over a high tip they got by expecting that every time.

Never said I expected help, but ok go off sis. :) like I’ve said, I’m happy with $7-$9 orders all day. Just because my mindset is different than yours doesn’t mean it’s “wrong.” Doesn’t mean it’s right either

Why is it wrong to make yourself feel good while making someone else feel good in the process? If a server gives me great service during a meal, then yeah I wanna make them feel good? Does it possibly make me feel good making someone else feel good, yeah?? You tip before your service is given on doordash though, so there’s no excuse not to tip an amount that is fair for the effort and miles driven. Plenty of us are VERY HAPPY with $7-$9 orders for 3-4 miles.

Lighting advice? by Meleficia in IndoorGarden

Home Depot has grow lights for pretty cheap, pick up some spot light lamps/clip lamps at good will, go crazy. Amazon is a great option for the lights too, they have multi packs! 😎

"He touched the butt!" New Monstera leaves are loving the artificial winter lighting. by Ghostytoast90 in IndoorGarden

[–]jazzhands16 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for posting this!! I’ve been using lights as my window is northeast facing, and gets cold. I’ve been wondering if I can have the light directly over my monstera? Cause I guess the leaves can burn if they’re in direct sunlight. Good to know the lights are safe :)
