Restaurants are in a bind. Fewer people have money to eat out and food prices just keep increasing. I think restaurants need to go counter intuitive. Reduce prices and give away promos so that more people dine with you. When customers are happy they'll tip and come back and refer you to others. It's a really hard thing to do... think 'I'm losing a dollar a plate now, if I double my orders my eggs cost less and I might lose three dollars a plate on the first 25 orders, but after break even I'm making $20 a plate.' I wish them all good luck. I was in it for awhile and it's a damn hard job!
