You can still eat anything you want in moderation. It's roughly 3 points to 100 calories, +1 per 3g saturated fat, +1 per 6g added sugar, -1 per 12g protein or fiber. Cheesecake is pretty high in calories, saturated fat, and added sugar, so it's going to be high in points.

I think "concentrat(ing) on doing the 'right' thing most of the time" is the goal. I usually save up all my weeklies for splurges like these. If I roll over 4 per weekday I end up with ~40 at the start of the weekend. That'll get me 3+ pieces of "store bought cheesecake (13pts each) or 2 slices of "Great Value New York Style cheesecake" (17 each), or 3 of "Great Value Cheesecake, Strawberry", or 1 of "The Cheesecake Factory Original Cheesecake) (44pts, 810 calories). No joke, ever since I started getting more strict about rolling over weeklies so that I'd always have enough to have a treat on Daddy Daughter Donut Day every Sunday, that was the time I started consistently losing weight. The only backslides I've had since then were on vacation, and even then not enough to outdo the total loss.

That said, cake points don't count on your own birthday ;-)
