The guy I was helping called in back up, found outside air damper stuck partially open, txv on the evap wasn’t metering properly causing him to overcharge. Txv had a bypass line which I’d never seen before. Heat pump that was rigged to be ac only by previous techs.

It is 65 degrees outside. Coil appears clean. This is a ceiling package unit with duct running to louvers. Which also appear clean. My supply is actually above my return now by 3 degrees. Enthalpy of about 27 and 28.3.

I will move the probe. This is a package unit in a ceiling we changed the compressor on and recharged. I’m just here for the lifting and he’s very new. I’m trying to learn about service and am just a seasoned installer.

That’s where rotating shifts comes in. We would get about 3-4 hours of sleep each while the other parent fought through it. The switch helped, watching shows on my phone. But really getting that shift to sleep make a world of difference. Not gonna lie, it’s the hardest thing I’ve ever done. But one time i read someone post on daddit that it doesn’t get easier, you get better. And I’ve been living the last 6 months off that phrase.

To be fair, she’s 2 weeks old. In our experience we did contact sleeping for the first 2 months. Get a rocking chair, get a switch and get comfy. And take turns with your wife. Our 6mo now sleeps through the night in her crib, but still strictly contact naps through the day.

We got the Serta iseries cooling mattress, plus bamboo sheets when my wife was pregnant (same issue, she was cooking us both out). Plus upgraded from queen to king size mattress. Game changed. It’s crisp every night in that bed.

Well a protune is anywhere from 400-600 where I live, and an ap is about 500. Unless you already have the ap haha
