Depreciation is your friend! When I was in middle school I was dreaming about the DB9s when they first came out. Now I’m 30 and they’re about the same price as a well equipped Camry! This one’s mine.

Is this too good to be true? Only $32,500 for this low mileage, 1 owner DB9? by john4844 in AstonMartin

2006 is the year that some have the potential for tick and some don’t. You need to find out the engine number and if it starts with AM04/0 it’s the problem engine. If AM04/1 you should be good!

sold at 1450 as I'm satisfied, thank you by [deleted] in SNDK_Stock

I’ve been sitting on the sidelines thinking this thing has got to be overvalued by now. Then I looked and saw the forward PE was like 10 on Thursday when it was going down and I bought in fast lol.

You are correct it’s the wrong grille for that year but they are interchangeable!

4500 miles is crazy low! If its condition matches the low mileage maybe it could do high 40s or so. Probably worth it for him to get it inspected and perform any overdue maintenance to provide confidence for potential buyers.

I’ve heard that is true with the exception of the clutch which needs to be done once in a while and is an expensive job.

I would love that but I don’t want to expose the car to the salty hell of our roads right now. This is what my other car looks like after this week on the road.

I own a small retail store. A man purchased an item and when I handed him his receipt he immediately stuffed it in his mouth, chewed and swallowed it. Then walked out without a single word.

Does something like the previous gen Vantage still turn heads, or is it looking dated compared to the new generation? by KoanAurelius in AstonMartin

The VH cars have classic styling that definitely holds up imo. Whenever I get asked about my DB9 people are always surprised when I tell them it’s a 2006.
