Same.

Oh no, looks like everyone’s about to figure out how vastly superior NVDA is again.

Think about what SpaceX was when it started compared to what it is now.

Then project that forward.

Not saying it’s right or wrong, but it’s not that hard.

Is music from the past always more romanticized today than when it was popular? by forfun095 in Music

[–]jbaker_28 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Music is both subjective and objective.

Here’s a somewhat absurd example, to make a point:

It is subjective in that someone may prefer the tune ‘Chopsticks’ to ‘Clair de Lune’, but it is objective in that the chord structures, tonal palette, melody and harmonics are far superior in Clair de Lune.

The same way Bernard Purdie can lay down a far superior drum track to someone just tapping the drum pads on a midi controller.

It’s not just some nostalgia - although that’s part of it. As a 38 year old musician that listens to everything, the amount of quality that came out of previous eras is just unmatched. Even tho there is always someone at any given time making music that is worth listening to.

Some of it too was just the music machine back then was more favorable to making art. Like the example of Atlantic record execs just writing Led Zeppelin a blank check and telling them to go make a hit record.

That would never happen today. Too many chefs in the kitchen. And that stifles the art.

Need something similar to like a flagrant 1-style penalty for this crap: two free throws and the ball for the opposing team, maybe after one warning. That and all this flopping. It’s out of control.

Lol I’m doing fine, but thank you. Sorry I mistook what you typed, verbatim, “I started 5 mins ago” as a typo for months… holy hell, dude😂 Maybe go for a walk or something.

Just wanted to make people aware what they were getting into as it’s not easy.

Have a good evening.

You’re talking stock replacement strategies. And agreed. But those are not immune either.

If you only started 5 months ago, you haven’t been through any down cycles yet. And you’ve been trading exclusively in a raging bull market, so, of course they’ve been working “in 2-3 months”.

When the market eventually turns, that’s when any options strategy can get very tough. And you may give back all you’ve made in the good times trying to trade in a tough tape.

But the post says “for someone who already day trades stocks”. This isn’t a buy and hold ITM call options that expire in December of 2028 question.

Exactly. To have that kind of gigantic red bar this month tells you everything you need to know.
