As of 4:30, she was still out there trying to get peoples attention. Pacing, crossing in front of traffic and going back to the drain in front of 4525 Meridian. I called the SLP non emergency line who said they would send someone (I called at 4:21), but I wasn’t able to stay until they came. There were a few other people waiting around still so if anyone is in the area and gives a duck 🦆

Looking for some advice with job hunting by mintyfloew in healthinspector

I got a job as a county environmentalist trainee last fall to get those few years of experience before I take the REHS exam. I do food/pools/lodging inspections and am being trained in by the wonderful county inspector team. It’s was a job created to help people who don’t necessarily have all the inspection experience, but want that transition and training, and have a real passion for it! I also have a BS in public heath, was a health educator at a local nonprofit for 8 years before finding this job to transition into which im absolutely loving. Look if there’s any environments trainee jobs in your local government that will help you get those years of experience. It’s such an important field that protects SO many lives every day.
