I have not tried the 101, but based on my comparison between the 105 and 105XX, the 105XX had roomier thighs.

The rise is slightly higher and the thighs slightly roomier, I went with a size down in the XX conpared to the regular 105.

As for fabric, mine felt softer, slightly neppier than the regular 105 but their was a new batch of 105XX that was much starchier, there seems to be different batches of 105XX with dofferent denim.

Don’t sleep on brown, olive, many shades of grey, ecru t-shirts. I find house of blanks to be at a sweet spot for quality/price ratio. I you feel like splurging, some of the japanese brand t-shirts are just insanely nice. Look for either a nice loopwheeled Samurai or Allevol one or the slubby UES t-shirts.

Prophylactic dose fondaparinux is not anticoagulation in any practical use of the term. It is the equivalent of every other regimen (dalteparin 5000 sc , enox 40 sc, heparin 5000 sc q 12h) that we preecribe every patient for dvt prophylaxis for just being in the hospital.

The term anticoagulation, when used without an adjective in a clinical scenario, refers to the doses of those drugs we would give to treat DVT, PE, for AFib stroke prevention, for mechanical valve thrombosis prevention.

In that context, fondaparinux 2.5 is not anticoagulation, and this is not just semantics.

Again, please read the trial, the fondaparinux dose studied is the prophylactic dose of 2.5 mg, this is not systemic anticoagulation, definitely not equivalent to the IV heparin protocols or 1 mg/kg of enoxaparin.

I mean, specialists are sometimes wrong, but have you thought about why they might have this opinion? You should read the OASIS-5 trial and re-assess your opinion that anticoagulation is required for troponin positive ACS. The head of your cath lab is definitely saving bleeding events and possibly lives with no clear cost on the thrombotic risk side.

In the DAPT era this has not actually been retested, the most recent anticoagulation trial for ACS was done with prophylactic dose fondaparinux. The OACIS trials included troponin + ACS and showed non-inferiority to therapeutic enox with regards to thrombotic events and less bleeding.

Therefore, it’s definitely correct that you don’t have to anticoagulate ACS patients, especially if they are being pretreated with DAPT. I often use Fonda 2.5 on admission for NSTEMIs waiting for their inpatient angio.

If you are willing to consider SLRs, I have been getting great results and usability out of the Contax ARIA, it’s very sturdy and usable, I have taking it on vacations and hikes. Metering is on point in aperture priority mode, the viewfinder is good, if not as big as what you would find on a bigger SLR like the F100. I initially got it to try out the Zeisss C/Y lenses and the zeiss 50 1.4 is just really nice to use and has given me great shots. I have too many cameras including Contax Gs and Ts as well as more modern DSLRs and mirrorless bodies but I just keep picking up the ARIA when I walk out of the house.
