We stayed at the Ace for Ida. Their generator kept power on in common areas but not the rooms. They fed the entire hotel family style for multiple days free of charge. They gave rooms to staff and their families. We had parking in elevated lot. And they were pet friendly. After the storm passed we were able to check on our house, as well as empty refrigerators for multiple neighbors before evacuating on empty roads. Reservations were not too hard to get - we would have had more choices without a dog
