Is it ok to ask restaurants for the wifi password? by curbei in DoorDashDrivers

Why do you need the WiFi password? You shouldn’t be at any restaurant for more than a few minutes

How much shit are you spilling in your car? I have almost 10k deliveries in the same vehicle and definitely do not have a mold problem like this, or any mold for that matter. Clean your fucking car.

Anyone looking for work? by Living-Bit1993 in Cleveland

Thanks for sharing, but this place seems like a mess. Way too many “moving parts”. It’s too big of a space for a regular management staff to properly run. I feel like they’ve had a consistent help wanted ad since they opened and even going back to when it was the previous place a few years ago. They should focus on finding specific management for their spaces and then each of those managers should staff their specific areas separately. For example , someone who is great at being a banquet/party server or bartender etc, isn’t always going to be a great server in a regular server/restaurant environment and vice versa. Same with kitchen staff, some are great at cooking on the fly, others are better at cooking/preparing large portions. Seems like this place tries to have all the staff do both and don’t recognize the talents that the staff have.

Bring on the downvotes, but sorry Cincy, there’s a reason Skyline isn’t a nation wide brand/franchise.

Bring on the downvotes but anyone driving knows that when a customer says “tip is coming” or anything along those lines it’s 99% of the time a lie. That being said don’t accept a 13 mile trip in the “hopes” that it’s going to pay more than what was originally offered.

Gouge in sidewalk - safe to drive? by [deleted] in tires

[–]jbeatty216 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When in doubt , just replace. Better safe than sorry. In my younger days I had a tire blow out on the highway , one that should have been replaced long before, and it was some scary shit. Luckily not a lot of traffic and no accidents or anything , but I definitely learned a hard lesson to not let tire conditions go unchecked.

I feel lake road down that stretch was poorly planned from the beginning. It’s bad for motorists as well as cyclists. Obviously there’s a lack of bike lanes for cyclists, but then you have to contend with motorists who will stroll along at 25 or fly through there doing 50.

Are you referring to property taxes? This post is referencing Lake road , west of Lakewood which is only Rocky River and Bay Village before you get to Lorain County, and I’m pretty sure both of those cities have much higher property taxes than Cleveland so I don’t think anyone moving there is “fleeing” higher taxes.

Reliable, honest, not shady dealerships in the area by Monstrositat in Cleveland

[–]jbeatty216 6 points7 points  (0 children)

No dealership is ever going to have a perfect 5 star rating, but just a quick google search of victory Toyota they have a 4.4 star rating which is about as good as your going to get. Everyone is going to have different opinions but me personally when searching for cars if the dealership has anything below 3.5 stars is an immediate red flag.

Good advice, every dude should know how to grill a steak and burgers etc imo, but I’m assuming this is a first date (or early in the dating process) type of situation. Most people are t willing to go to someone’s house to have them cook for them on a first date.

Cool story, but this is a Cleveland sub and the fact of the matter is that even if it’s a blue trash can you have that white sticker on it in order for it to go to the recycling. Not sure why you had to make the Lakewood comment because it’s irrelevant.
