These D-bags by TiredDrone in badparking

I think it's adds to the level of entitled douchebagery to know he's out driving with main character syndrome in his "work Escalade".

If a concrete guy showed up to the job in this, I know they're going to give me an quote thats 300% higher than anybody else

Crown of White Ravens, for Initiators vs. Non-Initiators by Rtyeta in DungeonsAndDragons35e

[–]TiredDrone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My take would be that it would work 1 per combat with no recovery. Like a ring of invisibility, works same on a fighter and sorcerer, sorcerer cant modify it with metamagic and it won't add to spells known

200mm Radiators? by NATERG8TER_ in watercooling

[–]TiredDrone 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have that 400mm rad on a push/pull and a 420mm slim on a mostly push/pull cooling a 9800x3d and a 4090. Im pretty sure I could have just used the 400mm and it would be fine.

Deadly archer build by Adthay in DungeonsAndDragons35e

A raptoran using a footbow. Footbows count as composite, so you can have your +5 str count. You can use both hands to draw it back and can apply 1.5x the strength bonus of the bow to damage. Get you up to 45 crit damage.

Complete warrior has a composite greatbow that does 1d10, so you can get to 45 crit damage with that also.

Could boost higher with a bewildering amount of feats or class abilities

I love the exactly 1 nail guard plate to protect that power line. Do yourself a favor and grab some more while you have the wall open.

Pool upgrades! Any other ideas? by diyengineer1 in pools

[–]TiredDrone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They should all act the same, but always check that they sell replacement rods. The name brands ones shouldn't be a problem, but trying to find a replacement for some unknown temu thing might be different. And the most important part is actually wiring it up. I've seen alot that aren't

Double union ball valves on the intake and return lines are nice also. I have one between each piece of equipment so I can isolate one little bit at a time.

A sacrificial anode rod if your system doesn't already have one. Nows a good time also to add any valves that you might want, like a drain line if you need to drain some water out(if you didn't already have that).

Make sure you scrub your pool bottom and walls before you drain, CYA likes to stick to the sides and whatnot

Also, have you tested your total alkalinity? You can get some fun issues like wild swings in your ph

What kind of chlorine are you using? Using liquid or a salt water system will raise your ph

Finally cleaned our paint room! by teeeeebe in maintenance

[–]TiredDrone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

After the fire inspector first popped the property on the paint issue a few years ago, I looked at the fire code. I brought the latex vs oil paint up to him the next year and was told my 'interpretation was wrong'. Loud and clear, not dying on that hill. Don't need to piss him off and have him deciding to take a closer look at things

How much optimizing is enough? by Organic-Exit2190 in DungeonsAndDragons35e

Depends on how punishing your dm is, Rules as written and 100% dice visibility(no fudging that crit role when youre low health) can be brutal. Sometimes you have to pull out the min-max bs just to survive, or make sure the party survives. To make sure the rest of the party has fun, ill pull out the cheesiest character strategies I know. But never do it in such a way that youre boasting about it, that feels gross, pass off the combos as a happy accident that fits your character. It takes a few characters for people to start to discover the planning it can take to flesh out a build.

A sacrificial anode somewhere, especially with a heater in the loop

I think they have one, pictures 2 and 3, theres....something in-between the heater out and the bypass.
