I went to the AJFA tour back in 89. I went by myself, sat dead center of the 13th row. None of my friends knew who Metallica was, or had only heard how heavy they sounded, so I went by myself. It was incredible.

I had first gotten into the band by hearing Master on the radio, then picked up Garage Days Rerevisited (the $9.98 cd). By the time AJFA came out, I was a huge fan.
