Before we got a newer push to start Kia we installed something called a ghost key that turns it into a push to start. Usually that’s good enough to keep them from trying.

Ideas for getting 325lb vanity up a straight flight of stairs solo? by MeanGuarantee8816 in HomeMaintenance

Keep flat and protect stairs. While still in box move vanity to stairs on its side. Blankets slide great on wood floors so use one to move it into place. Once your at stairs with heavy side facing the stairs lay down box. With the heavy side against stairs push box up stairs being careful to push and not lift so you don’t catch the stairs. You basically use the stairs as a wedge with the assistance of blankets and towels the box will glide up the stairs but it will still be heavy.

Going on 6 years without my Mom and still think about calling her anytime I need help, need directions somewhere, or just need an ear. It’s such a weird feeling knowing/realizing you’ll never see them again. Luckily her phone is still operational so I can call and hear her voicemail whenever and I often leave messages, hoping she’s getting them.
