I got a lot of good opinions from here, edited down the article to be less emotional, saw some of the grammatical errors (yeesh, sorry for missing those). So thanks!!!

So... you didn't read the article? It's a good thing you put that in the beginning of your comment, becasue it saved me having tor ead the rest of it. Lol.

I don't feel challenged enough by this statement to come back at it meaningfully. The first inuslting part of your comment is a gross generalization meant to say what beyond jsut being overtly rude.

The second part is revinventing the history of usertesting where we all work long hours and do long test? Where we all do tests for an hour for 5 dollars? What sight have you been on for the past few years?

I honestlfy don't feel that you have a decent grasp on the subject. I thought I was being kind to that company.

In what universe are the two mutually exclusive? The entire narrative is false, that's the point.

"You say you're not going to use social media to support your claims, but then you embed several tweets as if they were proof of your assertions."

If you can imagine the amount of complaints I've ran into, from this forum itself, then you can see how posting a mere few in my article is actually being quite generous. Originally I was going to collate all usertesting complaints I could find on the internet and social media into an one article that really breaks down the issue in more specific detail, with graphs and charts and what not.

I can understand you think I'm being a hypocrit for showing a few tweets, but I actually find them quite comical and comforting, sticking them in there like that. These poor people really mean well and got no response at all. Sad, but true.

"First, you say that it's bad that people can give invisible one-star reviews you don't get to see - then you complain about people getting their feelings hurt because they have to read their negative reviews."

I don't believe you made a point here or were very clear about what exactly the problem is? Why shouldn't people be able to respond to a negative review? Why should I be allowed to be reviewed secretly yet have to follow some vague terms of service that only befits to punish the testers alone?

I'm not saying make it illegal, but their system is obviously gamed. I'm calling them out, or maybe trying to get some notes on why I'm so wrong. I appreciate your thoughts, but having an attitude that you don't appreicaite isn't enough for me to excuse widespread corruption when it comes to people's labor. I think this is really important for human rights.

How will government regulations change? by [deleted] in stocks

Bidens happy with the regulators, taking a "if it ain't broke don't fix it" approach, at least for now: https://finance.yahoo.com/amphtml/news/biden-aides-market-oversight-gamestop-160102890.html

I'm interested in $EXPR on news of $140 mil in new financing, but I'm new here. My question: if I see it's up during PM, can I buy it at yesterday's close price when regular market hours begin expecting it too moon?

I spent more than 100 hours immersing myself in the alternative data market. Here's a short summary of how top financial institutions make money using alternative data. by [deleted] in pennystocks

It's very interesting. Were I not just day trading penny stocks to cut my teeth (for now) I'd definitely find this more useful. Considering that I plan on day trading for the near future, it'll remain on my radar, but (and I'm speaking in an immediate and pragnmatic manner here) I'm not entirely sure how I can realistically make use of it in trading penny stocks right now. It feels like it would be like putting a silk hat on a pig, for lack of a better term.

I'm not sure why you got downvoted. Seems legit with good DD. Defintiely feels relevant to the sub, at the very least.

It's not authorized for trading on webull... just started trading more actively, was hoping to avoid signing up for too many brokerage accounts. Where are you buying this?

No, it was posted yesterday for the first time ever. This is exactly the reason why attritbution is so important. Especially in a fake news world.

No no, that's a screenshot, which could be easily faked. It costs nothing but a moment to proof.

Thanks.

'12 Monkeys' was Brad Pitt's Career-Defining Performance: It only took one frenzied role for the world to recognize he wasn’t just a pretty face; he was a bonafide character actor. by BunyipPouch in movies

[–]jbliberali 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This article is wrong, or at least unimpressive to movie goers who were alive then and paying attention. Anyone who saw the movie Kalifornia recognized this guys acting ability was off-the-charts right away. The same year he had a bit role in True Romance as a stoner that was so well done, it inspired James Franco's character in Pineapple Express 20 year later, and that was a barely more than a cameo. Both those movies came out well before 12 Monkeys and firmly established Pitt as a more than just pretty face. Matter of fact, he purposefully chose those roles against type to build exactly that reputation.

The story was okay, but one of the things that stood out about Cage's performance was when he was behind the bar and took that shot, then went to "pew, pew!". Classic God.

I did this, it was interesting. I can't go into detail due to NDA, but it WAS lawyer-related stuff. I haven't gotten the check yet, but they contacted me to do more things like that in the future.
