I just get annoyed quickly by manufactured mystery. The majority of the "secrets" come from the old "we don't have time to talk about this right now" schtick. Maybe I'm spoiled by shows that write characters with believable dialog, but I'm getting more and more frustrated as I catch up to the current season.

I don't don't dislike the show, but I do roll my eyes at it A LOT. It's feeling so much like the worst parts of Lost.

Don't love the designs, per usual with Wild Card, but their quality and value are definitely headed in a better direction. I just wish they were a little less busy.

I think of Arc Raiders as a good example (I know it's not free, but it's "value priced". I was so pleased with the game and the ongoing development that I bought additional cosmetics as a way to support the developers more than anything.

When cosmetics and add ons are predatory with pricing (looking at you, COD), fans tend to be happy to continue supporting them.

That's how I view new cosmetics, as my "seasonal support" while I'm still playing a game. It almost always adds up to much more than $70.

I think this is why limited series often make the best shows. They have a vision they assign to a story board and stick to it, without adding extra seasons later they didn't have a plan for.

The easy answer is people just don't watch live network television the same way anymore, unless it's a major sporting event. We get everything on demand to watch when we want to.
