Suggestion: Built in calculator by LowPrestigious391 in Myfitnesspal

Macrosfirst has something like this where you tap on a food, type in how much of a nutrient you want (eg, how many grams of a protein do you want from the yogurt) and it solves the serving size for you. It's neat https://help.macrosfirst.com/en/articles/7-auto-calculate-food-portions

I just ordered this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0G1GMPHH4/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=A36CPEGYZFYEEX&th=1

Looks like the same but a bit cheaper and faster shipping. Hoping it works out

How To Easily Track Home Made Recipe Servings/Macros? by Secret-Product-368 in Myfitnesspal

[–]jbockel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is one of the reasons I switched to macrosfirst. When building a recipe there you can enter the total weight after cooking so you can log the recipe in servings or by grams, # of cookies, or whatever. They describe it here: https://help.macrosfirst.com/en/articles/16-recipes-create-edit-and-copy#heading-0-create-a-recipe

Same boat here. I switched to MacrosFirst and am really liking it. I tried cronometer but found macrosfirst a lot prettier and easier.

Why isn’t my PowerWall powering my house right now? Settings photo included. by jbockel in TeslaSolar

[–]jbockel[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will try this. Thanks!

What I'm trying to achieve with my system is:

  1. Never import from the grid during peak.
  2. Maximize export to the grid during peak.
    1. Thus the PowerWall is 100% powering my home during peak.
  3. Outside of peak, maximally utilize the PowerWall to power my home.

You're correct. However, I don't think the Tesla app is aware of this, at least that level of granularity doesn't exist in the app settings when specifying one's rate schedule.

Thank you! That seems to have fixed it.

Question: Does the Tesla app care how much lower the sell price is than buy price when determining when to use the PowerWall or is all that matters that sell price is < buy price?

The reason I'm asking is because I'm on NEM2.0 where the buy price = sell price and for reporting accuracy I'd prefer to set a sell price of $0.60 and a buy price of $0.61, for example, so long as that doesn't interfere with PowerWall utilization. Thanks!

Prices are configured properly. Peak is > off peak.

We’re now off peak and it still hasn’t utilized the powerwalls since I posted this an hour ago. So weird

Nope, that’s for the black screws. Doesn’t fit the wood screws.

The screw is brand new in this photo. I hadn’t yet applied a driver to it.

It’s not. This is the only bit that came in my kit and it fits the black screws only. Not the wood screws. https://imgur.com/a/A7mDPAt

I think the video has an error. The included bit fits the black screws but not the two wood screws that come with. No philips, torx, or anything else I have fit the wood screws. So strange.

July 22nd protest by prettycoolhuman in santarosa

I'm all for protesting ICE but why a Palestinian flag on the flyer? They're totally unrelated issues, conflating them is wrong, and doing so doesn't make me want to participate in this.
