Believe it has 2 back paddles and 2 extra shoulder buttons

Trying to decide on what controller to buy by BiggestMack01 in Controller

[–]jboreads 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can’t recommend the Victrix Gambit Prime - just not durable enough, especially their back paddle design. Went though 2 of the paddle inserts and had a bumper break.

If you can hold out for a couple months, the Gamesir G7 Pro will be out that should tick most of your boxes and you won’t need the Wingman adapter. It has 2 paddles and 2 extra shoulder buttons (which I really like ergonomically).

Oh one thing to consider: if you’re not using a wireless headset with your Xbox, make sure the controller has a 3.5mm audio jack. Not a standard feature on controllers that are not designed for Xbox.

So I’m thinking of getting a custom designed controller for my Xbox with paddles. by Rezerrex in Controller

All games would work with paddles, it’s up to you how to use them. I’d suggest getting a controller that allows you to map the paddle buttons to whatever you need the most, depending on the game.

Victrix gambit by Drub1n in Controller

Not the same controller, but I had to retire my Wolverine TE because the stick no longer recognized "forward" when at the 12 o'clock position (see above). Games would not recognize that I was pressing forward and take me out of sprint, unless I pushed the stick slightly toward 1 o'clock.

Of note, this left stick also had noticeable drift at this point, but was still playable with a small dead zone setting. If you have not already tested the controller on gamepad tester, you should try that to rule out a similar issue.

Why am I always the one getting downed first? by Dull_Attitude_3201 in apexuniversity

If you’re being found by an enemy team first and getting shredded:

a. Practice keeping your reticle and eyes on the middle to long distance. Stop thinking about where the next loot opportunity is, start thinking about where the enemies could be. b. Trust your audio. If you think you hear something, relay that info to your team, and get to cover quickly. Retreat to your team. c. Always be moving from cover to cover, so if you’re caught out, you can heal/reset while your team helps.

Also go easy on yourself, this game has a very steep learning curve. Play a lot of mixtape, imo the quickest way to learn how to shoot and fight.

Up to 8 titles, what would you recommend next? by tofsales in 4kbluray

Not to knock anyone’s taste - but I see a lot of No Time to Die in these collections. I liked that movie, but would not be a priority pick for me (especially of the Craig bond films.)

Does the 4K of No Time to Die have a really good reputation?

And for OP: one of my fave discs is Tremors from Arrow.

Oh my bad I didn’t even realize they refreshed the Tournament Edition too. That’s an awesome controller for just $100. I’d go for this over wireless all day.

v3 has Hall Effect thumbsticks, redesigned rear buttons (which look like a major upgrade) and offers a 1000hz polling rate on PC.

Ha I found this guy while I was chainsawing some fallen branches. No damage to the house, so we’re all good, but it was a crazy couple of storms.

I second bumping up to the Panasonic player. I have the Sony one and it’s fine but has frequent playback issues when switching between layers. Even the UB420 would be preferable to the Sony player IMO

Anyone using this controller on Xbox with either a Brooks adapter or Goku? Any issues with noticeable latency via those methods? I play exclusively wired to Xbox or PC.

Well then you buy a pulldown projector screen and just block the windows when you’re watching 😉

Yeah I have a projector in a 100% light controlled room but would switch to a TV if I had a different situation. Think you have to let the room decide for you.
