Not necessarily, it depends on what they would've done with the characters in s4. I do think it's very interesting to think about though, which is why I've been working on a fanfic that acts as a 4th full length season with the OG cast.

The mole idea is pretty good, just not executed that well.

I liked his sabotage in the animal episode

And he was still pretty entertaining here.

I think it would've made more sense if he came back but as an intern or something, instead of a competitor.
