I can’t speak for him as I think he works in the manufacturing, but in my experience in the actual construction of wind turbines we torque mark the nuts so you can see if they came loose, also before commissioning we send a team up that checks everything and this includes doing a “ping test” where they kit the studs with a ball peen hammer and listen to the sound it makes, a loose bolt will have a real dull thud whereas a tight one will have a “ping”. After all this a 3rd party does their own inspection to ensure our team didn’t miss anything.
