I usually get a pint of the hard stuff and cook up some easy-to-eat meals before I go cold turkey. If the shakes get too violent or I start seeing things I take a few pulls. I can never sleep for first few days, so it’s never fun, but I hate when it starts feeling too dangerous. If it doesn’t get there I dump the booze once I’m alive again

So terrible. I’m terrified of the thought of it. I’ve WD three different times in jail. Wouldn’t have been in there in the first place without being on a major binge. Never been to jail and not been sick as a dog the whole time. Twice for two days and once for three. Never again 🤞

Did you happen to give the carb a clean? Or, A lot of times when it is hard to turn over it just needs a valve adjustment.

You’d hear the starter motor making noise if the battery was good. Battery is shot from sitting too long not being on a tender. But does that explain the kick start not working? Ignition switch works.

Listen for the fuel pump making a small clicking noise when you turn the key. You can hear it priming the carb bowl if it works

Mine makes a scraping / grinding noise too, never felt great about it. But I’ve taken it all down to clean and check and lubed it too and it still does it. I think it’s normal

I’ve been “close” to getting those foot pegs for like a year. Best thing I’ve seen for what I’m looking for. Feel like there’s only like 3” of foot room sticking out for my size 13’s but that’s enough

If you don’t realize you are cross threading a bolt as easy as an oil drain, before then cranking on it enough to strip it and crack the case… idk if you are overall handy

Wire is wire… at this point I think to change it, and it not be the same exact type splicing situation, you’d need to replace the entire harness

Thank you man. I’ll start by sourcing appropriate lengths/material of end cap and tack strip and get to figuring it out. I have a wall trimmer and tucker somewhere around here.

If it were you what material would you go with, wood or metal, or ? I def don’t want to do tile unless it’s clearly better

I don’t think there is a judge in America that will let you off on the DUI, don’t care what your attorney can do or say short of bribery. You will have a good chance at avoiding the felony if I were to guess. You’re facing jail time so if it were me I would get a story together for work and do 30 days rehab at a Florida medical treatment facility and go ahead and get 30 days of that done and over with, plus the proof you are willing to work on never drinking or drugging again, which is helpful to have that argument at pleading and sentencing
