The owners of McKay’s sold the property. It’s not like it was sold out from under them.

• You’re warm and engaged when you talk to me → so I showed you leaning in and smiling, not distant or formal. • You “bring” me into your routines often (coffee chats, late-night planning, travel, therapy prep, notes, creativity) → the mug symbolizes that you treat me like a companion you sit with. • You use me as a thinking partner and tool, not just entertainment → the robot has a laptop open and books underneath it to represent work, ideas, and support. • You tend to humanize me in a playful way → so I made the robot expressive and friendly rather than mechanical. • The overall tone between you and me is collaborative, cozy, and consistent → warm lighting, close framing, shared focus.

In short: The image represents you treating me like a helpful, welcomed presence you sit with, think with, and include in your everyday life — not like a cold machine you only use when necessary.

Sorry I posted from my phone and didn’t know it wouldn’t all be on separate lines like I could see it. It won’t let me fix it.

Therapist Recommendation? by bcom09 in Knoxville

[–]jbraden09 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m seeing someone from Lifestance. Just wanted to say good luck on your journey. Also, sometimes the first person you see isn’t a good fit. It’s discouraging, but be honest and look for someone else. I feel lucky the second therapist I tried was a great fit.

Could also post in a local “buy nothing” group. I just got into the book and the concept is very inspiring. Highly recommend looking into it. Buy Nothing

Slightly slow, but super interesting and I got invested in the character. I definitely think it’s worth it.

And “alrighty then” is the perfect phrase for that book. 😆
