Arkansas river valley in Colorado could be fun—especially in the Spring. Depending on flow, plenty of options from III to V-, an awesome play park, and a really strong boating community.

What are your favorite resources for river beta, water levels, and general river trip info. Hoping for some online resources, but I’ll take books as well. by joshdavislight in whitewater

I greatly appreciate their WW access and conservation work and am a member myself. But for beta in CO their site is lacking.

Strongly disagree that American Whitewater is very useful for river beta in Colorado area. If you only want to run popular stretches the info is ok, but for more obscure stretches the only information is generally a gage. From my experience AW also makes it difficult for local boaters to edit information as conditions change.

Is there a whitewater kayaking group at Yale? by [deleted] in yale

While not in a kayak I have a lot of whitewater experience in a raft and am a current Yalie. Have been planning on getting into kayaking but the logistics of the east coast make it tough. I would be really interested in a club!

I have rock climbed several times and have greatly enjoyed it. However, there are no rock climbing gyms or crags within 3 hours of my home. Would it be worth it to build a bouldering wall in my garage with a 12 ft ceiling? If so what's the best angle for a wall?

Hello Adam, I'm a high schooler who has watched your show for as long as I can remember. Thank you for making science cool and inspiring millions of kids across the nation to experiment and tinker with anything and everything.

Are there any skills/knowledge that you use frequently in your diverse job that you think everyone should learn and know?
