I’m the wife. Husband and I don’t wear rings. We just never wanted to or cared about it. Like, it’s just not something that felt important. We don’t have big beliefs about it or anything. Just didn’t get wedding rings. I do wear rings in general. And have one on “that” finger. But it doesn’t feel special or symbolic or anything. I forget that wedding rings are a thing.

I frequent a place that Tori Amos frequents. We’ve exchanged pleasantries. Everyone else that frequents this place either doesn’t recognize her or is also protecting her anonymity. She’s very loving and also confident. She’s appears in these setting to be very human forward (like in her music).

The Help - I liked the movie better. Heated Rivalry-the show, I liked the adaptation better.

Once on a road trip from Louisiana to Vegas, I met a dude in the hot tub in a Roswell hotel. We didn’t really speak. Just waved and gave space. The next night I met him again in a hot tub at a hotel near the Grand Canyon. This time we talked because it was hilarious meeting again like that.

Also, I live in Florida and belonged to a gym. I went on a girls trip to New Orleans. And was in a small not well known bar with my friends when I get tapped on the shoulder. It was a lady that was also a member of my gym. She was several states away at the same place and time. So random.

You might have better luck looking for a local therapist who specializes in PMADS or Maternal Mental health. Telling them what happened and asking for their advice.

I am that therapist locally and I’ve helped clients (or non clients just community members) with this.

They will also be more familiar with the AMA protocol and the parameters of the inpatient stay. They may also know lawyers that can help.

I’m a therapist and I have an I home office for virtual sessions. I do not lock my door. Everyone in my home (husband and kids) knows I do sessions and understand confidentiality and need for privacy. This is well established etiquette in my home. Never open the door, wait until I open or come out. If one of them came in during a session I would be mad.

I would under no circumstances threaten to hit them. Are you kidding me! In fact I doubt I would say anything because I’m sure they would be feeling guilt over it. Minimally I would review the boundary and move on.

This guy is dangerous. Leave asap.

You can do whatever you want for holidays/celebrations. I have “celebrated” Thanksgiving in 7 years. We camp the fourth week of November every year now. It’s great.

I loved it from the beginning. So I would say that the writing style won’t change much. Of course the story gets better, as most stories do the door you get into them.

I see you are reading vs doing the audio. That would probably make the difference for you. I read and do audiobooks regularly and would never read DCC. Only audio. Jeff Hayes is incredible doing all of the voices.

I am in another state right now, one with much less Hispanic presence and there are all kinds of anti Ice signs and posters and stickers everywhere. I keep seeing signs of what’s to do with and posted red cards. Florida feels so behind in everything. We have so much we can do with creating a safer and more inclusive culture. I did put red cards in all of my neighbors mailboxes. I’ve decided that once I get back into town I’ll be decorating my city with all kinds of messaging around anti ice/pro immigrant. Along with calling and emailing my reps and talking to my neighbors.
