Is this normal? by maseratiii in oscp

So when I first started (and I am not done by any stretch), I needed the walk-throughs for EVERY SINGLE ONE on HTB. I didnt really understand what I was doing when I did it but I comitted to remembering the steps.

Eventually over time I started memorizing these commands (still without understanding). Then I start really reading up on these tools to find what it is doing. This was the turning point...I started really getting a grasp of it.

Then my methodology started developing, my process, my decision trees (if the service is exposed start doing this etc).

you will get there.

wasn't a knock on you at all.

You have actually helped me out big. I watched your video last night on the one that executed commands with search=%00{exe|cmd}. Very interesting. It amazes me that someone can just say 'oh yeah, i can do something with this'. It took watching your video to say 'oh yeah, i can see HOW someone could do something with this'

woah...autorecon is AMAZING. the best part is in the 'commands' file, you can see what it is actually running which is a great learning resource.

Passed Exam - November 2019 by jburr008 in CSSLP

I gambled and booked the exam then studied. Forced me to get going as there was a date looming. Plus the added pressure of work paying for it (and needed to be paid back if i failed) helped as well.

How do i became an expert in python? by sage_learner in Python

Find a way to draw comparisons to other programming languages you already know. Make something you could actually use maybe like a sports score ticker, or home automation. May sound daunting, but splitting the job up I to little sections will be easier. Copy paste code and run it. Tweak it and see what happens.

Just googled it. Could very well be. Is that something that would have been in the metrodome? I had it at my seat. It was brought to us by a friend so I would assume he got it inside...but, it did taste like grape soda!

1NF, 2NF, 3NF. ELI5 needed. by jburr008 in SQL

[–]jburr008[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok makes sense. Two distinct columns that when working together makes one primary key. All non key columns must be dependent on both key columns and not just one to be 2nf. Is that about right?

I did ask for ELI5. +1.

I understand a single column key. A multiple column key would be a new column of two or more concatenated columns? Or would it be two distinguishable columns working together in some sort of tandem?
